Park woodland and footpath
Historically, Le Peschiere was the name of a 22 hectare farm as well as the farmhouse. Now that most of the farmland is now managed by another family member, and the house stands at the top of its own hill surrounded by its garden and hidden within circular wood with just one point of access.
Dense woodland, home to roe deer, wild boar, porcupines, pheasants and tortoises. Horse riders and hunters come close but do not enter. A single footpath threads from the house through the wood to a ford and an abandoned medieval bridge.
