This is no great problem, other than for the fact that I cannot stand for public office. Now for the good news &#8230; I cannot stand or public office.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Which means that I can criticise, but when they ask me why I don&#8217;t do something about it, I can reply that I would but the system won&#8217;t let me.<\/p>\n<p>Still, my conference organisation <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Maremma.TV\">Maremma.TV<\/a>\u00a0seeks to facilitate and encourage open political debate, without the self-censorship common to most all public meetings, where party politics\u00a0suffocate policy debate.<\/p>\n<p>And to show that I would if I could, I recently launched my (virtual) electoral campaign during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maremma.tv\/video\/1075\/richard_harris\">Bla Bla Maremma cabaret <\/a>in Grosseto.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maremma.tv\/video\/1075\/richard_harris\">Vote me.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My very first post as the website gets ready for its launch.
