Le Peschiere in Maremma<\/strong>, a large and historic farmhouse at the top of its own hill, close to the Thermal baths of Saturnia, is an exceptional\u00a0place for meetings and events. <\/strong>It is located at the end of a long private road and is surrounded by woodland. Its large garden includes an amphitheatre and shady areas for the summer.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

It lies 1kilometre down from the town of Manciano towards the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Argentario promontory. Though in Tuscany, it is closer to Rome and its airport than to Florence.<\/p>\n

The house probably began life around the 13th Century as a small monastery. A second part of the house dates from the 19th Century and the large barn now used as the studio was added about 100 years ago. All of the ground floor was given over to cattle and the family lived upstairs. It now has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, the large studio\/meeting space and a parlour with baby grand piano. There are two kitchens (one inside, one outside).<\/p>\n

Formerly the home of Gemma Detti, artist and architect, it is now managed by her family as a location for small-scale conferences, concerts, courses and social events, weddings included.<\/p>\n

Le Peschiere in Maremma<\/strong>, un casale grande e storico in cima della propria collina, nella vicinanze delle\u00a0Terme di Saturnia, \u00e8 un posto eccezionale per incontri e eventi. Si trova alla fine di una lunga strada privata ed \u00e8 circondata dal\u00a0proprio\u00a0bosco. Il giardino ampio comprende anche un\u00a0anfiteatro\u00a0e delle zone ombreggiate per l’estate.<\/em><\/p>\n

E’ un kilometro dal paese di Manciano verso il Tirreno e l’Argentario. Nonostante sia in Toscana, \u00e8 pi\u00f9 vicino a Roma e il suo aeroporto.<\/em><\/p>\n

Probabilmente, la casa risale dal trecento e nasce come convento piccolo. Una seconda parte \u00e8 stata aggiunta del novecento e la grande stalla ora usata come “studio aperto” \u00e8 stata costruita circa centro\u00a0anni fa. Tutto il piano terra serviva per la bestiame e la famiglia viveva sopra. Ora la casa ha cinque\u00a0camere, tre bagni, lo grande spazio per eventi e un\u00a0salone con pianoforte a mezza coda. Ci sono due cucine (una fuori, una dentro).<\/em><\/p>\n

La casa era dell’artista e architetto Gemma Detti; ora \u00e8 gestita dalla sua famiglia come location per piccole conferenze, concerti, corsi e eventi sociali, matrimoni compresi.<\/em><\/p>\n
